3 NYFW Trends that have already landed!

Our top 3 picks of ready-to-wear styles that were seen on the catwalks at New York Fashion Week this Autumn!

Usually we have to wait weeks or even months for designs and styles to filter down from the fashion runways in New York, Paris, Milan and, of course, London but this season we saw some ensembles that incorporated some familiar trends that will be carrying forward from SS16!

Here are our favourite 3 styles that you an continue to stock with confidence, knowing they’ll stick around well into the SS17 season…

1. Cold Shoulders

The cold-shoulder trend was huge this summer, and has carried forward well into this AW16. It’s a modern take on classic cuts, and we think it’ll be a trend that carries well into the future as a new classic line.

It’s a delicate, sexy style that we’re glad to see will be outlasting the Christmas party season well into SS17 as a result of the strong sheer designs paraded on the New York catwalks.

Sheer chiffon or mesh can add a beautiful dramatic look to any ensemble, and is a great way to show skin in a more subtle way to create an effortlessly feminine yet striking look, as demonstrated by designers such as Falguni and Shane Peacock, Jenny Packham, Tome, Oscar De La Renta, Alexander Wang and Tommy Hilfiger.
