AW19 Trends from Milan Fashion Week

AW19 Trends from Milan Fashion Week

It’s that time of year again to start looking towards what could be happening further through 2019 as the top designers from around the world gather to show the latest trends at fashion week!

As always, we’ll be reviewing each show and curating a roundup of the trends that we think will be the ones worth investing in for AW19!

Spotlight on: Milan

Florals

Autumnal florals were popular across all of the Fashion Week catwalks this spring, so it seems inevitable that this trend will catch on the highstreet, and we can look forward to an usual bloom later on this year!

Sunshine Brights

The catwalks of Milan were fit to bursting with collections that were punctuated with bright pops of sunshine colours like yellow, orange and red! We’re used to seeing deep, moody colours during the Autumn/Winter season, so this could be an unusual but welcome breath of summer that lasts into the colder months!

Knitwear

Knitwear itself is not an usual thing to see in Autumn/Winter but the designers have given us a fresh perspective on the seasonal staple by taking them into a quirky and modern interpretation of the trend.

Monochrome

A huge trend we saw time and time again on the catwalks was the use of single toned palettes to create striking monochrome outfits!

Oversized Fit

We’re all about casual, comfy yet chic styling here at LV so we adore this trend of oversized and relaxed fit garments that we saw everywhere at Milan Fashion Week! These types of garments are so easy to style and layer up, it’s a cinch to put together a comprehensive Autumn/Winter wardrobe with oversized pieces!
